2023 ALBARIÑ0 (new spring release!)
Our 2023 Albariño once again showcases many of the classic characteristics of this varietal. Brilliant light yellow in color, the wine opens with intense aromas of nectarines and mandarin oranges. Those same influences continue through to the palate, where they are joined by lime and hints of white peaches and a bit of body from the Viognier. The long finish brings some minerality into the experience, eventually giving way to classic Albariño citrus zest and salinity.
Pair with: Enjoy this wine with seafood risotto, your favorite shellfish in a light garlic & white-wine broth, with salty cheeses, or just by itself well chilled on a warm summer evening!

2023 SAUVIGNON BLANC (new spring release!)
2023 marks our third vintage of bottling a 100% Sauvignon Blanc from high atop the Horse Heaven Hills AVA in Washington State. Very pale straw colored, this wine consistently opens with explosive and layered aromas of lemon grass, tropical fruits, and white flowers, leading into flavors of passion fruit, white peach and tart green apples. A lighter-bodied yet mouthwatering wine, it finishes with palate-refreshing minerals and a return of the lemon grass from the opening.
Pair with: Roasted chicken, shellfish, halibut with dill, or a lightly herbed goat cheese, this wine is sure to please any Sauv Blanc lover.

2023 PINOT GRIS (new spring release!)
Our 2023 Pinot Gris is once again sourced from Zillah Ranch in the Rattlesnake Hills area of the Yakima Valley. This site boasts moderate daily heat and cool nights, perfect for ripening this varietal slowly to build flavors and retain acidity. The resulting wine is brilliant pale gold colored and opens with notes of pear and honeysuckle. Compared to recent past vintages, the 2023 is slightly leaner, still brimming with mouthwatering flavors of ripe pear, nectarine, and Meyer lemon, and transitions into a long refreshing finish featuring hints of citrus zest, a light minerality and long-lingering pear notes.
Pair with: Enjoy this wine well chilled on a warm sunny day with your favorite charcuterie, salty cheeses, lightly salted nuts, or perhaps even heavier foods like a chicken breast with a reduced white-wine pan sauce, or Spaghetti Carbonara.

2022 CHARDONNAY
Featuring grapes from a cooler climate near the Columbia river, our full-bodied and balanced 2022 Chardonnay is fresh, lively, and combines the best of both oak and stainless steel winemaking techniques. Opening notes of honeysuckle, lemon zest, tropical fruits, and light vanilla are backed by a core of minerality. Pronounced citrus accompanies the usually dominant and mouthwatering flavors of pineapples and pears. The finish is long and crisp, resolving finally into that same core of minerality noted at the start.
Pair with: Your favorite quiche, sweet and savory ravioli fillings with cream sauce, or any seafood fresh off the grill.

2022 MÉLANGE BLANC
The 2022 vintage of our Mélange Blanc returns to a more Roussanne dominant blend, featuring the classic aromas and flavors of fresh-cut ripe pear, honeycomb, star fruit and hints of tea. The Viognier brings significant stone fruits, white flowers, citrus, and minerality. Finally, the Chardonnay in the blend provides notes of apples and rounds out the creamy mouthfeel. Crisp and agile on the palate, yet full-bodied, Mélange Blanc appeals directly to your inner "white wine lover”.

2019 SYRAH SIRAH (new spring release!)
This inky purple blend of Petite Sirah and Syrah entices with aromas of black cherry, purple iris and light hints of vanilla. Mouthwatering flavors of dark cherry, sweet plums and dark chocolate are supported by a solid, even dense foundation of classic Red Mountain tannins. The long finish features lingering dark fruits, lightly tanned leather and black tea.
Pair with: Extra bottle age before release makes this wine accessible today with creamy blue cheese or your favorite braised meat with rich gravy. Or let it age and continue to evolve in the bottle for 2-6 years more.

2020 RED WILLOW SYRAH (new spring release!)
Once again in 2020 our Syrah from Red Willow came into the winery already perfectly balanced – not too much sugar, and just enough natural acids – a very rare combination in the heat of eastern Washington State. When that happens, as winemakers we just try to get out of the way and let the juice turn into something great!
The nose opens with notes of blackberries, smoked meats, vanilla, sage, rosemary and thyme. The same savory flavors dominate, backed by lush blackberries and marionberries. The long finish features medium-weight, slightly chalky tannins that yield to lingering memories of all the opening impressions and classic Red Willow minerality. This wine is delicious now and has the potential to age into something truly extraordinary in the years to come. “Yum in a bottle!”
Pair with: Your favorite smoked meats fresh off the grill and a fresh herb balsamic reduction.

2020 CABERNET FRANC (new spring release!)
Each vintage we strive to offer fans of Cabernet Franc a wine that is simultaneously true to the varietal and broadly enjoyable. Medium purple in color, our 2020 entry opens with classic aromas of ripe raspberries, black currants, and light but unmistakable Cab Franc bramble, joined by sweet vanilla and hints of smoked charcuterie. The fruits carry forward on to the palate where they are joined by sweet plums and hints of dark chocolate. The smooth and mouthwatering mouthfeel closes out in a finish featuring fine tannins, generous notes of cedar and lingering dark fruits. Unlike many of our recent vintages that were blended with Merlot, our 2020 offering is 100% Cabernet Franc, yet still complex due to contributions from four different vineyard sources.
Pair with: We recommend pairing this wine with creamy fresh mushroom risotto or any well-herbed and roasted poultry.

2020 MALBEC (new spring release!)
Our inky purple, expressive 2020 Malbec begins with strong impressions of ripe wild blueberries and toasted puff pastry. The round, smooth mouthfeel carries expansive flavors of sweet blueberries, juicy blackberries, and dark chocolate mocha from the start into the long finish, where they are joined by lingering notes of vanilla and lightly toasted hazelnuts.
Pair with: Well balanced from end to end, enjoy this wine by itself, with strong-flavored cheeses, or with any classically prepared grilled fare.

2020 ZINFANDEL (new spring release!)
This medium to dark purple colored wine opens with deep inviting aromas of dark cherries and plums, accompanied by hints of orange rind, cloves and other baking spices. Mouthwatering flavors of the same are joined by lush fruit compote, all backed up by smooth, supple tannins and a very long finish featuring more dark fruits, vanilla bean, and very light leather notes right at the end.
Pair with: Pair this classic Zinfandel with chicken or pork in a harissa, date and orange sauce, any other medium-bodied dish, or your favorite pizza.

2019 E70
In 2019, Cabernet Sauvignon from Quintessence and Red Willow vineyards returns as the dominant varietal in our E70 blend, with Syrah from Red Heaven, Boushey and Alder Ridge making up the balance. Earthy and spicy notes of Syrah lead on the nose, where aromas of blackberry cobbler and fresh-ground black pepper dominate, supported by sweet vanilla and slightly smoky notes of cured meats. On the palate the Cabernet Sauvignon asserts itself, contributing the mouthwatering flavors of black cherries and currents, along with subtle cedar and graphite. The Syrah reappears late and at the back of the pallet, leading into the long finish and supple tannins.
Pair with: A juicy grilled ribeye or portabella mushroom.

2019 MERLOT
Merlot was one of the first varietals to put Washington State on the world wine map! This vintage of our Merlot suggests superb age-ability and shows why it is still among the best our state has to offer. Our medium purple, intense and inviting classic Merlot offers aromas of cherries, plums, and cocoa powder, which are joined seamlessly with barrel notes of vanilla, and cedar. Those same influences carry through to the palate where they welcome juicy blueberries from the Malbec in the blend. Mouthwatering acidity and supple tannins lead to a long finish.
Pair with: Herb-crusted rack of lamb or any creamy cheese.

2019 BDX
Our BDX Bordeaux-style blend is a true representation of some of the best fruit and most famed vineyards in Washington State. The wine opens with inviting aromas of dark berries, rosemary, and lavender, with subtle hints of bell pepper, and vanilla. Mouthwatering fruit-forward flavors of currants, black cherries, and blackberries dominate, with undertones of raspberries, plums, and vanilla. A solid underlying structure leads to a finish of slightly dry tannins and long lingering fruit flavors and cocoa powder.
Pair with: Approachable now, enjoy this wine tonight with your favorite creamy cheeses, or tuck it away and check back from time to time to see how it has evolved wonderfully in the bottle.

2019 PETIT VERDOT
This 100% Petit Verdot is a superb example of the powerful yet softer wines that can be produced from this grape, which has traditionally been used only for blending. Classic aromas of violets and dusty lavender are joined by light notes of maple and sage. Our Petit Verdot is inky dark purple in color, with ripe plums, black cherries and sweet blackberries which dominate the intense flavor profile. Bold, smooth tannins and a lush mouthfeel eventually give way to a lingering finish of dark fruits and earthiness.
Pair with: Salty cheeses, like a well-aged gouda, or your favorite grilled steak with compound butter.

2020 CIEL DU CHEVAL SYRAH
Distinctive and delicious, this single vineyard Syrah from prestigious Ciel du Cheval on Red Mountain was produced especially with our club members in mind. This deep purple wine is more savory in character than many of our other Syrahs. From the enticing aroma to the long finish, focused, super-dark fruits and Asian plum sauce combine seamlessly with fresh-ground black pepper and a structured core of classic Red Mountain dusty tannins and minerality. With extra time in the glass, this wine becomes even more expressive, suggesting that those who cellar it patiently for 2-5 years may be well rewarded.

2019 SYRAH
Our dark purple 2019 Columbia Valley Syrah showcases some of the best Syrah grapes from across Washington State. The wine draws you in with lush aromas of dark cherries, vanilla, lightly smoked charcuterie, and coffee. Those influences carry you into the mouthwatering body, where they are joined by blackberry cobbler and black currants. Velvety soft tannins lead into a long smooth finish featuring lingering dark fruit and spice, closing with just a touch of dry dusty sage.

2023 ROSÉ OF CABERNET FRANC (new spring release!)
Do not let the classic pale onion-skin color of this 100% whole cluster pressed Cabernet Franc rosé somehow convince you that this wine is somehow wimpy or uninteresting. As is often the case with this beautiful wine from famed Red Willow Vineyard, sweet raspberries, light pastry notes, and a hint of lemon zest on the nose invite you to taste, where flavors of the same are joined by those of strawberries and early season rhubarb. The mouthwatering, slightly creamy mouthfeel leads to a finish full of fruit notes, citrus zest, and lingering minerality.
Pair with: Enjoy this wine with raw shellfish, a lightly grilled filet of halibut or lemon-roasted chicken.

2022 ROSÉ
This brilliant medium salmon colored rosé of Sangiovese and Tempranillo opens with pronounced notes of strawberries, watermelon, and sweet vanilla blossoms. Intense flavors of fresh strawberries are joined by red plums, continuing into the softer finish where the opening berry and melon notes reappear along with lingering light mineral influences. Barrel fermentation lends a round, textured mouthfeel.
Pair with: An appetizer of pears, prosciutto and cheeses, and sweeter, not-too-spicy curry dishes, like Butter Chicken.

2021 SPARKLING ROSÉ OF PINOT NOIR
Once again in 2021, two different clones of Pinot Noir grapes from Pine Brake Vineyard north of Zillah give our Sparkling Rosé its characteristic cantaloupe color. This year, the aromas include strawberry, papaya, and ripe melons, with a hint of orange rind as the wine warms a bit in the glass. The fine mousse of bubbles created using the traditional champagne method carries the wonderfully balanced flavors of strawberries, pink grapefruit and crisp nectarines forward into the delicate finish, which closes with hints of minerality and citrus creamsicle.
Pair with: A stone fruit or citrus dessert, this bubbly will also compliment any delicate seafood.

2021 BLANC DE BLANCS SPARKLING CHARDONNAY
Our sparkling Chardonnay is a true classic and shows off with every sip. It is whole cluster pressed and made in the Méthode Champenoise (traditional Champagne method) to craft a bright, fresh bottle of bubbles. Brilliant pale yellow in color and delightfully dry, our 2021 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs opens with delicate aromas of white peaches, pears, and brioche. Fine bubbles and a generous mousse highlight flavors of the same, along with green apples and citrus. The mouth-watering finish features hints of lime zest and a touch of crisp minerality.
Pair with: Raw oysters, fresh-picked crab, or a nutty parmesan or asiago cheese.

The Patterson Cellars Signature Series is a collection of extraordinary wines from Patterson Cellars. Our winemakers carefully select small batches of wine, sometimes even just a single barrel, that they are unusually excited about sharing with you.
We may offer a varietal that usually doesn’t stand on its own in our other offerings. It may be particularly fantastic barrel of wine that we just can’t bring ourselves to blend with any others. It may even be a wine that we put extra effort or time into, hoping to create something extra-special, different, or simply fun. Many of these wines will be offered only once – they are truly highlights of each vintage that may not be repeated. In all cases, our Signature Series is a glass of the very best that Patterson Cellars has to offer.
2020 SIGNATURE SERIES MOURVÈDRE (new spring release - reserve custom case club member exclusive!)
Our Signature Series of wines gives us the opportunity to produce very small runs of wines that are in some way different or interesting. Our first 100% Mourvèdre is one such wine. Lighter and less “gamey” than many wines made from this grape, the 2020 Mourvèdre opens with unmistakable aromas of blackberries, subtle cracked black pepper and cigar box. The mouthfeel is extraordinarily smooth and plush, supporting flavors of dark berries, vanilla and a certain earthiness, merging seamlessly into the long finish where all impressions so far remain and are joined by hints of dark chocolate.
Pair with: Decanting this wine will help bring out even more of its deliciousness, and as with any Mourvèdre we suggest pairing with lightly smoked meats (hot or cold) or anything off the grill.

The 2019 Patterson Cellars Signature Series Sparkling Rose of Pinot Noir comes from two different clones of Pinot Noir grapes from Pine Brake Vineyard north of Zillah in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA. Peachy blush in color, this full-bodied wine has subtle citrus notes that blend seamlessly with aromas of brioche and toast. On the palate the wine displays bright acidity, a creamy mouthfeel and flavors of tangerine and dried apricots.

With just 40 cases produced, this very limited second vintage of the Patterson Cellars Signature Series Sparkling Blanc de Blanc was crafted from grapes from the iconic Sagecliffe Vineyard located at the Gorge Amphitheatre. The light golden hue offers hints of what’s to follow: aromas of apple, brioche and lemon that make one almost forget that wine also needs to be tasted. The creamy mousse and bright acidity carry the abundant flavors of apple, pear and pineapple into a long, velvety finish.

Crafted using the traditional champagne method, this sparkling delight showcases fine, persistent bubbles, having undergone extended tirage for 36 months before disgorging.

Brassy gold in color, our 2020 Late Harvest wine opens with intense aromas of orange blossoms, pineapple, apricots, and honey. 2020 RUBI
Featuring Washington State plantings of the traditionally Portuguese varietals Touriga Nacional, Souzão, and Tinta Cão, our deep red 2019 Ruby port style wine opens with intense aromas of dark bourbon soaked cherries, warm vanilla sauce, orange zest and a spice or cigar box filled with cinnamon and cloves. Juicy black cherries dominate the flavor, joined by ripe blueberries, candied oranges and hints of toffee, all lingering long into the finish that eventually closes with delicate notes of coffee and rosemary.

Robust ruby red in color, our 2016 Port is made from the traditional Portuguese varieties: Touriga Nacional, Souzão, and Tinta Cão, all grown in the Yakima Valley of Washington State. Dark fruit dominates the intense nose: black cherry and black raspberry, highlighted by spicy cloves, vanilla bean, and hints of violets. Flavors of candied bing cherry, lychee, black plum, orange zest and dark chocolate burst onto the palate and linger long into the warming finish. Enjoy now or hold for the next several years. This Ruby Port will evolve beautifully in bottle.

PICK UP INFORMATION
You will be notified via email prior to your credit card being charged for the allotment. You may pick up your wine at any of our five Washington locations during normal tasting room hours. (BOOK YOUR MEMBER EXCLUSIVE TASTING HERE!) We reserve allocation varietals for 90 days, but will do our best to fulfill the allocations beyond 90 days. We are happy to help you pick out replacements in the event we are out of a wine at the time of pick up.
SHIPMENT INFORMATION
For your convenience, wine can be shipped for special member flat pricing of $20 on every 3-12 bottles purchased, plus applicable taxes. You will be notified prior to your credit card on file being charged for the allotment and shipping.
